ECoverFX tends to go through spurts, where I end up doing a lot of ebook cover work. Next it will be blog headers and other website headers. Then I get some orders for various other assorted graphics. Well, right now we’ve got an ebook cover spurt – thanks to Mr. Kevin Riley who likes to send his clients over my way.

Gotta say that I completely enjoy it, because his clients are just some of the nicest people you’d ever want to meet! The report cover below was created for a super guy named Keith Dean. Keep an eye out for him, and I’ll link his website here as soon as he gets it ready to go.

He absolutely loved his cover, saying this:

Hi Michelle,

That is superb!

It is much better than I expected.

Thanks,
Keith

I thought that was really nice, and I am always happy when folks really like their graphics. Wouldn’t have it any other way over here at ECoverFx! Here’s his new report cover:

I’m working through a few more of Kevin’s clients at the moment, but wanted to share this cover first. Keith sent me an image of himself, and the image of the ATM machine. There was some “cut-out” work that needed done to pull his image from the background, and I also did a LITTLE retouching to skin and hair areas. I try not to go overboard with the retouching, so as not to take away from the original image – but just enough to clean it up.

I always enjoy it when people send their own images, they usually know exactly what they are looking for. It also saves time on image searching, and of course the image fees as well.

For the background I went to the MorgueFile and found a cool looking background with some patterning in it. This background worked well for this particular cover. Then I added some money – of course – with cash in the title it had to have a bit of money!

For the title, I used a silver layer style. It added that little extra to the cover that made it come out really nice.

Hope you like it as much as we both do!

Thanks!
Michelle
